1967 ROLEX STEEL Cosmograph ‘Pre Daytona’ REF 6238
This watch was purchased, by myself , from the ORIGINAL owner in the early 1990’s and sold to the current owner at that time. He has had it in storage ever since. He has instructed us to sell the watch for him. Serviced at least twice by ROLEX in Australia. Recently serviced by our watchmaker . The watch has had replacement Dial, Hands, Bezel, Crown & Pushers and Plexi . by ROLEX SERVICE CENTRE, in the 1980’s. Bracelet is 1980’s . This watch is priced to sell.
Dial & hands are first series ref 6239 COSMOGRAPH , and the last NOT to feature “Daytona” on the dial. Bezel is also ref 6239.
