The 417 ES celebrates the return of the legendary chronograph and delivers robustness, reliability and excellent legibility in-line with the core requirements of aviation timepieces. The letters ES stand for Edelstahl, or stainless steel in English, denoting the sturdy case material which brings this watch to modern-day standards. Another modernization is the slight increase in case diameter from 39 to 42mm.
