Why pre-owned Hublot makes sense

Most Hublot models sell for a lot less second hand than new. That is bad news for the first owner and good news for you: the same watch for a much lower price.

The Big Bang

Launched in 2005, the Big Bang made Hublot a household name: a big case, exposed screws, and materials like ceramic, carbon, titanium and Hublot's own King Gold. The Unico versions use Hublot's in-house chronograph movement.

The Classic Fusion

A slimmer, simpler Hublot. It keeps the porthole-style bezel and rubber strap but wears more like a dress watch, which makes it a good first Hublot.

Where Hublot started

Hublot was founded in 1980 and was the first brand to put a gold watch on a natural rubber strap. Hublot calls that idea the "Art of Fusion", and it still runs through every model.

Questions

Why are Hublot watches cheaper pre-owned?

Hublot releases many models and limited editions, and plenty come onto the second-hand market. That keeps pre-owned prices well under retail for most references.

What is the Hublot Classic Fusion?

Hublot's slimmer, more understated line. It has the same porthole-style bezel as the Big Bang in a thinner case that suits everyday wear.
