Rolex's sister brand

Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf registered the Tudor name in 1926 and set up the company in 1946, to make watches built to Rolex standards at a lower price. For decades, Tudors used Rolex cases and crowns. Today Tudor makes its own movements and has a following of its own.

The Black Bay

Launched in 2012, the Black Bay brought back the look of Tudor's 1950s divers and quickly became the brand's signature. It now comes in several sizes: the 41mm Black Bay, the 39mm Black Bay 58 and the 37mm Black Bay 54. The Black Bay GMT adds a red and blue "Pepsi" bezel.

The Pelagos

Tudor's technical dive watch, made in titanium. The smaller Pelagos 39 is lighter and easier to wear.

Vintage Tudor

Older Tudor Submariners and Oyster Princes, many fitted with Rolex parts, are some of the most collectable watches Tudor has made. See our vintage Tudor.

Questions

Is Tudor owned by Rolex?

Tudor was founded by Rolex's founder, Hans Wilsdorf, and both brands are owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation. Tudor runs as its own brand, with its own designs and movements.

Which Tudor Black Bay should I buy?

Mostly, it comes down to wrist size. The 37mm Black Bay 54 and 39mm Black Bay 58 suit most wrists, and the 41mm Black Bay has more presence. Come in and try them on.

Do you buy Tudor watches?
