Product Description

OW C-1000 Y

1,996 CHF Ollech & Wajs Handmade in Jura, Switzerland.

The Ollech & Wajs C-1000 Y – A striking tribute to the first 1000m dive watch.

In 1964 the Ollech & Wajs Precision Caribbean 1000 set the standard by which all other dive watches would be measured with a certified record-shattering depth rating of 1,000m (3,300ft). The single biggest leap forwards in the evolution of the dive watch was thanks partly to the revolutionary 702 mono-block case with its distinctive pointed lugs.

In celebration of this trailblazing reference, we reintroduce a modern day interpretation of the boldest Caribbean of them all – the yellow dial variant.

The yellow dial vividly evokes vintage dive instruments and was favoured by the vanguards of scuba for its exceptional legibility and versatility beneath the surface. Highly visible in the shallow zones, but as the diver descends the yellow disappears fading to light grey and providing even greater contrast with matt black hands and indexes. The oversized triangular cardinal markers, generously filled with Super-LumiNova®, provide optimal visibility even in the darkest depths.
