Product Description
Forged carbon is strong yet light carbon fibre produced by placing small fragments of carbon fibre in a mold with resin and then compressing and “forged” at high temperatures. During this process the carbon flakes creating unique and unrepeatable patterns. The cases for the Squale T-183 collection are created from a single block of forged carbon, for which individual cubes are carved. These semi-finished carbon pieces are then encased in a steel housing to ensure durability and excellent water resistance. Squale’s T-183 Forged Carbon collection guarantees water resistance of 600 metres due to an internal cylindrical 316L steel case, onto which the sapphire glass with A/R coating is laid and sealed with a steel screw case back.
