The Vulcain watch manufacturer was founded in 1858 and is the inventor of the alarm complication for wristwatches. This innovation made the Vulcain watches popular with American presidents starting with Harry S Truman, earning the brand its reputation as, The Watch for Presidents.
This latest version of the legendary Nautical Seventies is developed for the Vulcain Trophy 2013 and offered in 300-piece limited series. The Nautical Seventies Vulcain Trophy 2014 watch features a 42mm diameter case with a water resistance of 300 meters. The dial bears a series of decompression tables, adjustable via a screw-down crown at the four o’clock position while a triple piece caseback creates a ‘resonance chamber’ that allows the Nautical 70s’ Cricket alarm function to be heard underwater. It houses the Vulcain Cricket manufacture caliber V-10 hand-wound movement with 42 hour power reserve. rrp € 4.150,00
