The Speedmaster

Omega launched the Speedmaster in 1957 as a racing chronograph. NASA qualified it for spaceflight in 1965, and in 1969 it went to the Moon on Apollo 11. It has been called the Moonwatch ever since, and the Speedmaster Professional is still the watch most people mean when they say Omega.

The Seamaster

The Seamaster has been Omega's sports watch since 1948. Today that means the Diver 300M, the Planet Ocean and the Aqua Terra. Older Seamasters from the 1960s are some of the most wearable vintage watches around.

Constellation and De Ville

Omega's dressier lines. The Constellation, known for the "claws" on its bezel, and the slim De Ville both often sell pre-owned for well under their original price.

Vintage Omega

Older Omega comes through the shop regularly. See our vintage Omega.

Questions

Is a pre-owned Omega a good buy?

For most models, yes. Pre-owned Omega usually sells for noticeably less than retail, so you get the same watch for less. The Speedmaster Professional tends to hold its value best.

What is the Omega Moonwatch?

The Speedmaster Professional. It is the chronograph NASA qualified for spaceflight in 1965 and the watch worn on the Moon in 1969.

Do you buy Omega watches?

Yes. We buy modern and vintage Omega. Send us the details through our Sell Your Watch page or bring it to 22 Russell Place.
