An unused Benrus “1972 Orbit Robot” Skindiver from around 2023, in a 41mm steel cushion case with a bi-directional bezel and a grey fumé dial with orange hands. Soprod P024 automatic with 38 hours of power reserve. On a khaki-green suede strap, with the box and a 1-year Watchtime warranty.
The Benrus 1972 Orbit Robot watch, a perfect fusion of stylish 1970s design and modern reliability. This rare model is celebrated with its original 41mm ‘UFO’ cushion case in stainless steel. The standout grey fumé dial, starting with light grey at the center and darkening towards the edge, is faithfully replicated from the original, enhanced with orange and white hands.
Key features include a Soprod P024 Swiss movement, domed sapphire crystal, BGW9 Super-LumiNova on hour indices and hands, a stainless steel friction-fit bezel with a lumed 12 o’clock triangle, and a screw-down crown for 20ATM water resistance. The inner lug size has been increased to accommodate 20mm straps, offering maximum versatility. The Swiss-made Benrus 1972 Orbit Robot is a funky, fashionable dive watch that combines timeless design with modern materials and performance.
