Product Description
After more than five decades concealed in the Ollech & Wajs archives, an almost forgotten watch, originally produced for U.S. Army Airborne units during the Vietnam era, is reactivated.
The OW MV-82 is based on an archival piece that was originally produced for Airborne troops in 1970, and features the U.S. Army Parachutist Badge, or “Jump Wings” as it is better known. Awarded to soldiers who complete the U.S. Army Airborne School, the emblem symbolizes the discipline, courage, and elite status of qualified military parachutists. Like its forbear, the reissued version bears the words ‘Airborne’ and ‘All The Way’, in reference to the call-and-response greeting of the most famous airborne division of them all, the 82nd.
The first 56 watches will have numbered crowns, thereafter the crowns will be marked with the OW’s famous propeller monogram.
